White Confession for a Sunday Morning

We focused on the silent scream of the unborn, even as we daily ignored the cries of the poor and oppressed, all while our politics and religion, our propaganda, history and self-interest inoculated, absolutely inoculated us, from hearing the cries of God’s children who were born and did suffer, including our brethren in faith.  This is how our condition presents after the veneer of Christianity has choked to indifference the essence of Christ from the heart of a person, and what remains to be defended with violence, is the facade.

Let us not cover our sins, or that of our fathers and mothers, our nation or people. Let us confess them thoroughly and abandon them utterly. Let us search and try our ways and deliberately strip away this semblance of Christ, and with all determination and sincerity of heart, turn again to the Lord, to follow Jesus as He is.

Say this with your heart and say it out loud. Say it in your church and say it with your life. You may have to come out from among them to find those who truly love God with all their heart and love their neighbor as they love themselves. Why do you tarry there?
