The Theme for the September issue is “I Won’t Be Silenced.” The Theme for the September issue is “I Won’t Be Silenced.” The inspiration: this phrase has been on my mind; I have believed in my spirit for some time. Though it seems unconventional, I decided to take a closer look at the song from the Disney movie Aladdin. Many of the words leaped off the page regarding America’s current racial reckoning.
