The Theme for the September issue is “I Won’t Be Silenced.” The inspiration: this phrase has been on my mind; I have believed in my spirit for some time. Though it seems unconventional, I decided to take a closer look at the song from the Disney movie Aladdin. Many of the words leaped off the page regarding America’s current racial reckoning. How does Three Fifths Magazine speak to this reckoning and the many questions as a collective “Voice of Clarity?
