The February Theme is entitled Blackout.

“The life of a nation is secure only while the nation is honest, truthful, and virtuous.” Fredrick Douglass

Blackout: The effort to systematically erase memories of national history. This February, during Black history month, classrooms across the country are at risk of going dark with amnesia. This crisis is due to an imaginary dog whistle of the white anxiety Boogeyman, Critical Race Theory.

The African word Sankofa literally means to go back and get what was taken. After the term made its way to the United States, African-American scholars coin the term to mean “remembering our past, to protect our future” within the African-American culture.

Three-Fifths Magazine speaks with the Voice of Clarity to this fabricated national crisis. Critical Race Theory is not even being taught in schools around America, verbatim. Now is the time to expose what’s really going on. Keep in mind Bryan Stevenson’s words

“The North won the War, but the South won the Narrative War.”

The 21st-century United Daughters of the Confederacy mentality now rages from a vocal few. Their desire for supremacy drives a pseudo-confederate narrative at electrically charged school board meetings around the country.

We speak to this by allowing God’s voice to calm the fear with freedom to be a bridge over troubled waters. We are not Afraid To Expose What’s Really Going On.

Keep in mind the words of scripture.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
