This is a relevant topic for this day and age. The chance to strive for what is greater, advancing in personal life as well as career life. Many may ask how true success is measured. I’d like to begin with the three P’s: Prayer, Purpose, and Perseverance. Advancing in personal and career endeavors requires an intimate relationship with God. When we have faith and pray continuously, we experience clarity, peace of mind, and the willpower to believe and achieve our goals. Prayer creates purpose, while purpose defines the efforts we take toward achieving goals. How do we define purpose? It’s simply why we were placed on this earth. To live abundantly, give back, and create an atmosphere of health, healing, and happiness. Taking time to define your purpose requires understanding self, and your true passion on this earth. Perseverance determines our willpower to achieve the goals we have set for ourselves, both personally and professionally. It takes work. It requires patience, understanding, and the ability to want better for ourselves in every aspect of our lives. Perseverance doesn’t just stop at making goals and achieving them; it requires continuous growth, healthy decision-making, and learning opportunities that never cease. I’d like to end with several biblical references that truly define the three P’s: Prayer, Purpose, and Perseverance. Proverbs 16:3“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”
