As miscegenation is prevalent in today’s society, there are numerous trends we must consider. Education, socioeconomic status, geographical location, ethnicity, religion, and tradition. The negative worldviews about colorism must be put to shame if we intend to advance in life, relationships, careers, opportunities, and support. We must allow people to be themselves, create genuine, meaningful connections with those who bring significance and open an array of diverse experiences for continued relational growth, and educate the community about healthy interracial relationships and marriages.
