To listen is to understand; however, individuals cannot understand because they are too busy going through the motions of life. Individuals do not take the time to truly listen and interpret the true meaning of words being spoken. Words take on feelings and emotions, which leads to either the negative or positive actions of individuals. It is essential for everyone to take the much-needed time to listen and provide the necessary support and empathy to those who are in need. When I think about the subject “ Clear Voice,” the word “respect” comes to mind. Individuals must take the necessary steps to end disrespect and begin to understand one another’s viewpoints. It can be surprising what one can learn from another individual by simply just listening. A clear voice conveys the need for one to advocate for what he or she needs in a respectful manner. If provided the necessary strategies, this statement can allow those to form healthier attachments in relationships. Ultimately, it allows the self and others to develop significant partnerships and relationships better. A clear voice is listening to provide empathy and understanding.
