The EC focuses on redressing racial and economic inequities in the local community via community-engaged scholarship. I am a former faculty member in both Higher Education and Afroamerican and African Studies. I received my B.A. from Old Dominion University and my M.Ed. and Ph.D. from the University of Virginia.
