Introduction

My spiritual journey has been a tapestry of faith, grace, and transformation. It has not always been easy—there were moments of silence, uncertainty, and waiting—but in those spaces I learned to listen to the gentle voice of God calling me higher. Each season brought new faces, new lessons, and new revelations that helped shape my understanding of purpose and destiny.

Every person I’ve met along the way, from different backgrounds and nations, has reflected something beautiful about God’s creation. Their stories inspired me to look beyond appearance and see the divine light within. Through prayer, tears, and quiet reflection, I’ve discovered that even the broken pieces of my life were never wasted—they were being gathered and refined for His purpose.

This journey north has been one of faith and courage, where God’s direction often came like a whisper in the wind. Yet with every step, He reminded me that I am not alone, that every trial carry meaning, and that divine timing never fails. I walk forward with gratitude and hope, trusting that each encounter, each lesson, and each act of obedience brings me closer to the heart of His divine plan.

North – Aboard a Great Journey

In the crossroads of life’s grand journey, we often encounter individuals whose appearances, cultures, or beliefs differ from our own. Yet, something draws us to them—a radiant presence, an aura that shines immeasurably into our spirits. In such moments, realization dawns: God has blessed us not with a partner in matrimony, but with a partner in purpose—a companion of faith sharing in divine calling and mission.

As I journeyed among people of all nations, I discovered the beauty of diversity reflected like colors among the sparrows between the ancient oak trees. Each tree, with its torn and renewed branches, symbolized generations past—those who, despite brokenness, continued to open their hearts to serve. Above them stretched the bluest skies, soft clouds shaped by divine intention, welcoming every soul willing to lend a helping hand.

In that sacred stillness, through meditation and prayer, a vision emerged—a vision that recognized the divine spark beyond appearances. It was here I began to discern the immeasurable opportunities presented by God: gifts designed for divine alignment and purpose. This was the Kairos moment—a sacred time of decision, of discerning which paths and people truly align with God’s sovereign plan.

Through my spiritual journey, I learned that not every opportunity or helper is sent by God. Scripture warns us to remain watchful and discerning, for not all that glitters is divine. The Holy Spirit guides us to act with balance, patience, and wisdom—knowing when to wait and when to move. God’s word reminds us to make the most of every opportunity by acting intentionally and wisely, reserving our energy for what truly fulfills His purpose.

From the examples of faith found in scripture, I draw strength and guidance. Nehemiah’s heart broke upon seeing the ruins of his city, yet he persevered with courage and leadership despite persecution. Amos embodied God’s call for justice and righteousness, holding humanity accountable to divine truth. These figures remind us that faith in action requires not only devotion but also discernment, courage, and perseverance.

Psalm 32:8–9 encapsulates God’s promise: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.”
Through these words, I am reminded that divine guidance leads us northward—toward transformation, unity, and purposeful connection among all people and nations.

Throughout my journeys, I have witnessed the goodness of hearts from every walk of life—Black, White, Asian, Native American, Greek, Arabic, and Ukrainian. Their faith, humility, and compassion have affirmed my belief that God’s hand moves through diversity, healing, and service.

Each encounter has stirred hope for the next generation—to rise, rebuild, and revive the broken branches of their ancestors. Through pain came redemption, through healing came purpose, and through divine alignment came clarity of mission. May His name be glorified through every act of discernment, every helping hand, and every step northward on this great journey.

“North – Aboard a Great Journey” reflects this same movement of faith. It is both a reflection and a testimony—a passage through challenges and revelations, guided by divine discernment and anchored in grace. As I continue this journey, I am reminded that heading north is not simply a direction on a map, but a spiritual alignment toward growth, healing, and the fulfillment of God’s purpose in my life.
