The Enduring Qualities Of Change.
“Just Like the Seasons, People Have the Ability to Change.”

The question for this hour is, Does America Have the Capacity for the Enduring Qualities of Change?
The fall foliage, which is quickly taking shape around us, gives clear and unabashed witness to the natural and vibrant power of change. America, by numbers, is changing into a multiethnic democracy. However, many of our issues of Race and Caste have remained, threatening to turn America into a minority rule, South African style Sudo-Apartheid.
Enduring Qualities can be expressed within three concepts.
The first tinge of fall color begins in the highest parts of trees; those leaves closest to the sun.
Spiritual Renewal
Those first leaves unleash the beauty within parallel spiritual renewal, or at least a renewing of the mind. Such renewals transcend the limitations of age.
Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
NIV Translation
With the increased cool nights and warm days, the epidemic radiance of the oranges, reds, and yellows burst into colors as if overnight.
The Tipping Point
In his book The Tipping Point, Malcolm Gladwell describes the “magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire.” He compares Ideas and social change to the fast spread of an epidemic.
At last, Autumn acts out its common name, “Fall,” as the leaves surrender to the shortening days and wind chills, clearing the way for future spring renewal.
Release
Finally, we put to bed the sleepy mindsets of yesterday, which will never return. We surrender self and selfishness to selflessness in preparation for what is to come. By releasing from mechanisms that hide and distort history, we will be free to release and teach the truth.
Does America Have the Capacity for the Enduring Qualities of Change? Yes, together, we do! Here’s why.
